What is X-Roads Nation??

X-Roads Nation is the youth ministry at Crossroads Community Church in South Lyon, MI! We have programs for 6-12th grade students that you can check out below. If you want to know what Crossroads is about, you can find that here.

Our Mission:

X-Roads Nation’s mission comes straight out of Romans 12:1-2:

So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.

Our goal is to help students follow God better. This isn’t something we do just on the weekends, it’s done in how we live our everyday, ordinary lives! We strive to help students focus on God and be changed from the inside out. We do this by providing a safe place where students can come have fun and learn about God together.

Programs

At Crossroads, we have multiple programs we run in order to live out our mission. Check them out below to see which ones are for you!

Breakouts

6-9th Grade | Sundays 12-12:30PM

Every Sunday morning during the 11:30 service, 6^th-9^th grade students break out of the service and head over to the Garage and have an opportunity to build relationships and hear a short lesson.

Aftershock

6-8th Grade | Sundays 7-8:30PM

If you’re in Middle School, Aftershock is for you! We meet Sunday evenings and pack the evening chock-full of fun games, cool people, and more! It’s a safe, fun place where students come to have fun and learn about God together.

Elevate

9-12th Grade | Sundays 5-6:30PM

Elevate is a lot like Aftershock, but more independent and discussion-based. We’ll frequently go off on an adventure to get ice cream, smoothies, or donuts depending on the time of year!

Events

6-12th Grade

At least once a month, we have an event for Middle and High School students. These events are great for bringing in new people, so invite your friends! Check out our Events page to see when they are and sign up!
